Collab with MarlanaAdeleVassar at this year's Art All Night in Pittsburgh's Lawernceville neighborhood.
Toward the end of working on this piece I started thinking of the title...imagining who this girl is and why she's there. She looks very young and also not very happy. She has the face of "duty" rather than "desire." Perhaps she was drafted at an early age to become a priestess in her village. She became a guardian long before she was ready, and thus wears a face to reflect the inner struggle in wanting to be a kid, while unable to play due to her responsibilities. The sea is her home...for it's all she has ever known.
